Meet the Fleet

For our experienced team to complete projects on time, budget and to an exceptional standard, we use the best machinery on the market. We conduct bulk earthworks and excavation, demolition and ground stabilisation with the following equipment:

Excavators

In house WEL own excavators ranging from 25 tones up to 60 tones. Most are fitted with either the latest full intelligent machine control technology or 3D machine control, either option allows the project team to have maximum up time and links the engineering / technical department with the project in real time.

Dozers

All of our dozers come as standard with intelligent machine control, the IMC allows our project team and engineers to achieve extremely low tolerances whilst carrying out many different tasks on a wide variety of projects. The dozers as with our excavators can be monitored remotely by our engineering department in head office.

Dump trucks

Wordsworth operate a fleet of articulated dump trucks ranging from 30 tonnes capacity up to 45 tonnes. This gives us versatility depending on the project specifics such as ground conditions, site area and programme.

Compaction plant

All available in house we have a verity of compaction equipment available from 13 t up to 19 tonnes, available with GPS to locate where the machinery is on site which assists with the validation process on the larger projects.

Haulage Fleet

Wordsworth Excavations operate an in-house haulage fleet comprising of in excess of 25 8-wheeler tipper wagons, fuel bowser and crane mounted wagon. Having this in house increases our ability to carry out all of our projects keeping us entirely in control of every aspect of the works.

The fleet is supervised from our head office by the transport department and we continually strive to ensure that we have the latest safety features fitted to all the fleet which is reinforced by our FORS silver accreditation.
